"the most laid back musician ever".. "totally natural" - NZ Musician Magazine

about

For over three decades, multi-instrumentalist Regan Perry has been pushing for uniqueness in Aotearoa’s live music scene. Recognised as one of New Zealand’s pioneering ‘looping’ artists, Regan has built a reputation for weaving rich, organic sounds that move effortlessly from intimate solo sets to full-band performances with his powerhouse outfit,
The Evolutionaries.
His journey has carried him across New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and the United States, before returning home to the Bay of Plenty, where he continues to create, collaborate, and nurture new talent. Recent projects include co-writing, recording, and mentoring local favourites Matty and the Buxtones and rising stars Drosan, whose debut album dropped in August 2025 on VillageLive Records UK.

Regan’s artistry has earned him respect from industry legends and critics alike:“Reggae needs more like Regan.” – Junior Marvin
